Born in 956 in the Capital in a brothel in Old Town; he never knew his father. The brothel's proprietor was a violent, domineering figure, and put him to work as soon as he was able. He grew up around sex and crime…and sex-crime; he learned all the wrong lessons, and learned them well. He gambled, cheated, and stole his way into wealth and respect, a natural for leadership of the Thieves' Guild.
