Many residents of the station don't want their home to go away, and are doing what they can to put the best face forward to the [[Category:Starport Authority Closure Commission|SPACC]] inspectors, and prove how desirable and profitable the station is (or could be). TPS is a group of private citizens that want to save the station by cleaning things up (at least, on the surface), without unnecessarily disturbing the status-quo. Behind-the-scenes, they can be pretty cut-throat and petty toward each other as much as their opponents, coveting prestige and recognition, but not generally to the extent of committing actual crimes (more than a misdemeanor, anyway). Run by "The Committee," comprised of top representatives of several local groups.
