Background
- Shaba's background is a mystery known only to Válaris, as far as anyone knows. The most common version anyone is aware of is that he fled Alsandia for some reason, wound up shipwrecked, and was discovered by Válaris, who took care of him, after which Shaba pledged his life to Válaris' service.

- Primary: Lately, Válaris has had a little too much on his plate, and Shaba has been discreetly trying to make up for it, especially in taking charge of the new recruits and setting them on the right path.
